The Free Trial Center follows several stages, and understanding how they connect can make the program easier to navigate.
This guide explains where eligible listings may appear, how an application can be submitted, where its status can be checked, and what selected participants may need to do afterward. Following the instructions does not guarantee selection.
1Open the Free Trial section
Log in to your Shein account. In the app, open your profile → Other Services (or More Services) → Free Trial Center. On the website, the Free Trial option may be listed within available community or services sections.
Inside the program area, review the products currently available for application. Listings may be updated over time, so the selection can vary between visits.

2Choose a product and send your request
The Free Trial program generally offers up to 3 application opportunities per week. Any opportunities that are not used typically do not carry over to the next week.
If you find an eligible item you are interested in evaluating:
- Select Free Trial on the product listing
- Choose the appropriate size when required
- Confirm that your delivery address is in the same country as the Shein site you are using
- Review your information and choose Submit
Important to verify: Your delivery country should correspond to the regional Shein website. If the information does not match, the request may not be processed correctly.

3Track the status of your application
A submitted application may take around one week to receive a status update. Use My Free Trial or My Applications to follow each request.
- Approved — the request was selected. A qualifying order may then be created at $0 and prepared for shipment.
- Failed — that application was not selected. Other eligible listings may become available later.

4Evaluate the item and complete your report
Participants who are selected and receive an eligible item can test it during normal use and consider factors such as quality, fit, design, materials, comfort, and finish.
After using the product, participants can submit genuine and detailed feedback through their account, preferably within 10 days of delivery. Review progress may be available in My Report.
A useful evaluation may contain:
- Specific observations based on actual product use
- Clear photos showing the item and useful details
- Comments about sizing, material, comfort, construction, and overall experience

Program points: An accepted report may provide approximately 20 points, while a qualifying Quality Report may provide around 100 additional points.
If the first report is not accepted, the program may offer one additional opportunity to revise and resubmit it.

In simple terms, the process generally follows this order: access the Free Trial Center → review eligible listings → submit applications within the weekly limit → track each request → if selected, receive and evaluate the product → provide the requested feedback.
